Jonathan and I (John Curiale) went to Home Depot to pick up some materials for a project.  I said to him we should share the Gospel with the guy that helped us.  So we did.  I prayed (PRAY that he would be open) for an opportunity to bring God us (PURSUE).  God had the guy go out and get some carts.  I then (PERSUADED him to believe the message of the Gospel). 

I asked him if he was going to die today--where would he go and he said heaven (and I asked how sure he was).  Then we had a conversation and he revealed that he doesn't believe the Bible is true. 

John:  I asked do you believe in God?

Guy:  Yes, I do, he saved my life from a car accident.  I don't believe in going to church, the Bible.

J:  If you believe God, don't you believe what He says.  If I am God and you believe I exist before you, don't you think you should believe the words that are coming out of my mouth?

G:  I guess, but why do people bash and rip apart the Bible. 

J:  Do you believe in Satan?

G:  Yeah, why?

J:  Because, don't you think he wants to distort God's Word (he has every since the Garden of Eden).  He hates God and he hates you and me too.

G:  I just don't believe that everything is true?   I believe all religions are fine---you can believe what you want as long as it works for you

J:  So you don't believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life--only through Him can one go to heaven?

G:  that is ridiculous!  There is no way God would create all these religions and then send people to hell.

J:  See, God didn't create all the religions (we did--we made our own way to heaven).  The Bible says we all have gone astray and sinned against God and made our own way to Him.  If God said, "There are no other gods beside Me" and Jesus said I am the only way to heaven...........why would God allow other ways.......either He is a liar or he is right!

G:  Thanks, I am not interested, but thanks for trying......

J:  I will be praying for you!
